The darkest days are a time for intergenerational storytelling: myths, histories and visions of future happenings- all should be shared. 2/7 complete, and at least some of these issues will include dragons and fairies. - Beatrice

After being raised by research scientists, and trained by top academic institutions, I landed and grew up in the semi-feral culture and environment of 1990s Providence, RI. I worked for many years as an art and general education teacher, and in 2015, with the experience of 40 years, I started to feel capable of building culture for the next generation. With COLORHODEISLAND I am attempting to activate the understanding that we are, at every moment, alive within a living environment, and to replace stories that frame the natural world as a separate, exotic, and dangerous location to be accessed primarily as a consumable resource.
